第一句里的 “works” 這里是「運行、運作」的意思，但翻為「呈現」通順一點。”harp” 是「不停地談論；嘮叨」，”grumble” 是「咕噥；發牢騷」，”push ahead” 是「向前推進；毅然推行」，”it pushes ahead” 實際原文里沒有「你」，但中文翻為「它推你向前」比較通順，”when it would be easy to quit” 原文里沒有比較級，但中文翻成「當放棄比較容易時」比較通順。”curse” 是「咒罵」的意思。
